The Barn Owl

A favorite member of Appalachian wildlife, the barn owl is great for pest control! Here’s an example of a Barn Owl’s call! If you ever go birdwatching in the Appalachian mountains, keep a lookout for this creature. I spotted one in the evening when I was hiking in Appalachia close to Bent Creek.
